As SIGHTING I, the sculpture stood for its premiere in Reithofen, the artists‘ hometown. Its location was on the edge of a groundwater-bearing private gravel lake, artificially created by rock quarrying, about 32 km east of the state capital on the gravel plain that runs out there.
70.4 tons of steel, variable dimensions, in the Reithofen version the dimensions are 2.4×2.4×32.4 metres.
